Imagine a sound, vast and melodic, driven by guitars that sing as much as they roar – that's DEAD STAR TALK for you. It's a sound you'd recognize anywhere, like an old friend in a sea of strangers. Now, this band, they're a bit like nomads, aren't they? Rooted in the musical soils of Hamburg and Copenhagen, they're a bit here, a bit there, but always hitting the mark.
At the forefront, you've got Christian Buhl and Günes Kocak. Christian, a chap with roots as diverse as the music he plays, was born in Germany, cradled by Danish heritage, and seasoned in Brussels before settling in Hamburg. And then there's Günes, born in Turkey, who found his way to Denmark as a youngster, carrying his stories and strings along.
But let's not forget the heartbeat of the band – Erik Jensen on the bass guitar and Claus Nielsen working magic on the drums. These lads, born and bred in Copenhagen, bring that rhythm and soul that ties it all together. They're the anchor in the fluid world of DEAD STAR TALK, a band that's as much about their diverse origins as they are about their unifying sound.
